Not because I felt like spoiling myself. And not because I just had to have a belt to match my clothes… Simply because my old one is just about completely broken.

So, I coughed up the ridiculous amount of R200 for a small, thin piece of leather with holes in it. Ouch. That’s a quarter of my monthly food budget! So this belt had better hold me in for at least 5 years! (That’s only R3.33 a month.)

For interest’s sake, you too could be the proud owner of a brand new belt  – the lovely staff at Truworths looked in the stock room for half an hour before finding one small enough to fit my waist. So thank you to them!
