Hooray! UNISA actually accepted my registration today, which means that I am now an official
student of information technology year two. After a few weeks of emailing, faxing and phoning it is a relief to finally know that it’s all been worth it. I have about two months before my first assignment, so now I need to buckle-down and get to work! I’m so excited!

UNISA troubles
Would you believe it? A woman from UNISA actually shouted at me on the phone this morning! I was so completely upset! At the moment it looks like I will be doing 4 first year subjects this year. Apparently the information I was given last year was incorrect, so now I have wasted a year of study. I LOVE UNISA.
March
And then suddenly it was March! What’s up with that? I can’t believe how quickly this year seems to be going.
I found out yesterday that my study plans are not going working out. Turns out I don’t have
credit for my previous studies at TechnikonSA. Which means that I’m going to be studying for a year longer than expected. I really wish that UNISA would employ some people who know what they’re talking about – so that I don’t end up wasting another whole year! I’m going to complain bitterly and see if someone there will feel sorry for me and give me my credits…
On a happier note – I’m busy eating a slab of chocolate! It’s the first one in two whole weeks! I can hardly believe it! I’ve been sick, and can’t handle milk products when I’m sick. But I’m feeling so very much better now. This particular slab has been talking to me for the last few days. I’m glad I could finally shut it up!
That’s all folks…
What do I do now?
Well, exams are over! What a relief! But also, what a strange feeling. I don’t know what to do with myself now! I feel like I should be learning! I’m hoping that I will get over that feeling fairly soon!
I went back to school on Friday, and it was quite a shock to my system! I was completely wrecked by 12h30 when we finished! I think this week ahead is also going to be a pretty long one. It always seems to take me a while to get used too school again.
Last night I invited several of my friends over to watch movies – it that this is becoming a regular event. Everyone brought snacks, and Viv brought movies. We watched Mr & Mrs Smith – fairly entertaining. After that we watched the last 30 minutes of Mars Attacks. I LOVE that movie! It really is a silly movie with terrible effects, but I love it nonetheless! “Do not run: we are your friends!”
3 down, 1 to go
This morning I wrote my 2nd-last exam. Shew! It was an English paper, which means a lot of writing! I wrote eight pages, and thought that my hand was going to fall off. For those of you who are worried, I still have my hand.
I couldn’t bring myself to do any learning today, so I’m hoping that tomorrow and Wednesday will be productive learning days.
I’ve been listening to the Tree63 album, Worship Volume One: I Stand for You, and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying it! There are a lot of old favourites as well as a few new ones that are growing on me. This is definitely an album worth buying – thanks to Philippa who gave it to me for my birthday!
